Changes throughout your project

Print

If you decide you wish to change an aspect of the design of your project throughout the refurbishment then all you have to do is ask. Conversely if we come across something that has to be changed (rotten timber for example) then we will raise this with you. The process for handling changes is called a change order and is a standard within the construction industry, how we handle change orders however is unique to Onis.

Our online CRM system has a change order section designed especially to make it easy for you to change your mind and for us to stay on top of the changes and their associated impact on design, cost and programme. Here is how it works:

SO...

1. Firstly either you or your project manager request a change order.

2. Your project manager then documents the reason for the change order in our CRM system.

3. Next the CRM system automatically informs our Quantity Surveyor who calculates the impact your change order will have on design, cost and programme and emails you their calculations for your approval.

4. If you are happy with the impact the change order will have on your project all you have to do is reply to the email confirming your acceptance. This email then goes straight to your project manager who gets to work implementing your change order. Voila!

Periodically these change orders form a part of your statement of account so you can see what changes have been made and how they impact your final account forecast and completion date.
